NDA

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC council. NDA stands for national defense academy and this exam is held two times in a year. A specific eligibility for UPSC-NDA is given below.

  1. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  2. Unmarried male candidates only.
  3. Age limit should be from 16½ to 19, no age relaxation.
  4. One must have completed 12th boar examination or appearing from a recognized Board.
  5. Student must be from science stream if you want to go for NAVY and AIR Force.

Selection criteria: Written Test, SSB interview (Ticks for SSB Interview), Physical Test.

SCRA

SCRA is also conducted by UPSC council. SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice and it is held annually. SCRA is held by UPSC council in the month of January. Exam notification comes in the month of November. The eligibility criteria for SCRA exam is given below.

  1. One must have completed 12th board examination (How to prepare for 12th board) or appearing from a recognized Board.
  2. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  3. Age limit is from 17 to 21, after this no relaxation will be given to anyone.
  4. Candidates must be of science stream. All the male and female candidates can apply for SCRA.
