What is an Adverb?

Adverbs are the words that changes and modifies the meaning of the verb, adjectives, sentence or any world which in turn makes the verb or sentence more sensible and understandable. Let’s take an example to elaborate this definition more precisely.

John was running slowly.

It is very important to all of us.

These adverbs indicate the time when the event has occurred.
